Up for sale is an absolutely beautiful Tokheim 36b gas pump, professionally restored in a Texaco theme. Manufactured in the mid-1930’s, the pump displays the unique art-deco design that went into these early tokheims. The pump includes its original internal parts and the electric motor and lift pump operate as they did originally. The metal doors on this pump as well as the four ad-glass top and the base all of which are original and not reproduction, we’re chemically dipped prior to receiving
prior to receiving epoxy primer, single stage urethane top coat, and finished off with clear coat. New wiring and components were added for lighting. I also added lights over the face plates for a more appealing display. The pump also includes its original computer which rolls, resets and rings just as it should. Parts used in the restoration include, new metal globe and lenses, ad glasses, reset crank handle, face plates and glass, contains lead signs, inspection doors, chrome tokheim plates, spear trim, hose and original brass nozzle. An absolutely beautiful pump that would make a great addition to any gas and oil collection.
